Grape Agate

Grape Agate is actually a botryoidal purple chacedony. First discovered around 2016 in the Mamuju area of Sulawesi in Indonesia. So far this seems to be the only occurrence worldwide. Colours range from lavender,light lilac, dark purple to green. The clusters of spheres that make up grape agate vary in colour for deep purple to green, and sometimes almost clear. And grow in clumps that resemble bunches of grapes.
